Rickrack or Champion continues themes first explored in Rodeo Clown, turning toward a more concentrated examination of love and loss. Through image, installation, performance and poetry, the work engages with the duality embedded within the lover and the performer alike. Desire appears as both adornment and injury, sincerity and spectacle. Taking cues from western mythology the project constructs a fragmented emotional landscape populated by figures suspended between devotion and self-destruction. Here, love becomes another open horizon: theatrical, volatile, and endlessly longed for.
